Flying High

I finally got my wings! Yes, I will be taking to the blue skies to provide the best in aeromedical pre-hospital life saving services. I recently was cleared to be a flight medic for Acadian Ambulance Service. You can read more about them at Acadian.com. The process took about 90 days to complete. Now I am able to provide the same level of care I did on the ground, but about 1000-3000 feet of the ground. The view that we have in the helicoper is astonishing. Believe it or not, Louisiana looks a lot cleaner from the air. Well, that is the latest update for now. Next time you hear a helicoper flying up above you. Look up because it just may be me looking down on you. Hopefully I won't be coming to pick you up!
